Speech Language Pathologist/CF’s
The speech language pathologist is contracted/or employed through Our Children First, Inc. Services provided by the speech language pathologist must meet the standards of care for speech language pathology services and New York State professional standards, and also meet the DOH and DOE guidelines for center base providers.

Qualifications: Minimum education and experience requirements include: a Certificate of Clinical Competence in the appropriate area (speech pathology or audiology) granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association; current registration or New York State to practice as a speech/language pathologist; and a minimum of one year experience as a speech language pathologist.

*Clinical Fellows are welcomed to apply.  OCF is committed to providing on-going support to our CF’s.

Special Educator/ABA Therapist

The special education instructor is contracted/or employed through Our Children First, Inc. Services provided by the special educator instructor must meet the standards of care for special education instruction therapy services and New York State professional standards, and also meet the DOH and DOE guidelines for center base providers.

Qualifications: Minimum education and experience requirements include: a Certificate of Clinical Competence in the appropriate area (special education instruction) granted by the State Education Department; current registration or New York State to practice as a special education instructor.

Early Intervention Service Coordinator

The Early Intervention Service Coordinators help the families of children with developmental delay navigate all aspects of the Early Intervention system by:

• Coordinating all services available to children across agencies
• Providing information on available services, resources and options
• Assisting in the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP)
