School Age Students

The Committee for Preschool Special Education and Committee for Special Education is funded and regulated by New York State and New York City Department of Education. Our Children First provides center based evaluation and therapeutic services for preschool children ages 3 to 5 years old (CPSE) and kindergarten up to 12th grade (CSE).

CPSE & CSE determine eligibility and authorization of specialized educational services if your child is showing delays in any of the following areas:

• Cognitive (thinking & learning)
• Communication (understanding, and using speech language)
• Adaptive (self-help skills)
• Social Emotional (connecting with others)
• Physical or Motor (vision, hearing or movement)
